Let us target the cause of your pain

The first visit to us involves meeting our friendly receptionists Mandy, Bree, Esther or Amanda to complete the new patient forms, consulting with your Chiropractor, who is going to listen intently and ask questions to see if we can help you. Treatment in most cases is commenced on the first visit, with the goal of having you feel better by the time you leave.  When required other tests may be suggested, including but not limited to a CT scan, MRI or X-Ray.

Subsequent visits, are typically shorter and may include explaining test results and discussing ‘self help’, such as exercise, postural advice and nutrition helping you to better manage your problem with less reliance on treatment.

“Will I need more than one visit ?” – Probably yes.

How long do I have to come for and how often? Thats the most asked question in our clinic.

Answer – There is no right answer

The question is answered by how serious your problem is, how long its been a problem for, how you respond to treatment, how much better you want to get and how long you want to feel better for.

For there to be pain there has to be a problem, with a problem there has to be a physical change in the body, something is wrong and very likely to get worse over time if not addressed. Treatment in time assists the bodies natural ability to heal by releasing ‘stuck’ or misaligned vertebral joints that may be affecting the healing and repair process. Just as going to the gym once won’t get you fit or riding a bike once won’t make you lose weight … getting better and getting out of pain is a process.

Frequently Asked Questions Q: Who Goes To a Chiropractor?

The answer is everyone from all walks of life. The common feature of chiropractic patients is that they wish to be proactive about their health and are sick of hearing
“it’s your age” or “learn to live with it”. The chiropractic patient participates in their return to health by exercising, concentrating on posture and correct spinal ergonomics.
They don’t tend to believe a tablet is going to realign a joint and do all the work.
